Hi there,
I am planning to run Filestreamer on Server 1 and my backup software on Server 2. I would like to give server 2 access to the robot and tape drives through iSCSI and I was looking to read up on how to setup file streamer in such a configuration.
Has anyone tried the iSCSI interface with filestreamer?

How to setup Filestreamer with iSCSI on Windows 2003?
It makes no difference to Firestreamer whether you want to use it locally or via iSCSI.
You need to install iSCSI target software on the server with Firestreamer, and expose the media changer and the tape drives as iSCSI targets.
On the other server, you need to install iSCSI initiator software and configure it to use the targets.
Now the question is whether your backup software is smart enough to use the tape library created by the initiator.
