DR license requirement

I`m planning to have a DPM/VTL solution. My backend storage, containing DPM/VTL and the Virtual tapes is replicated to a secondary site which is used for DR. In a DR situation, I will bring up a copy of the VM and mount the replicated storage. I`m trying to understand if I need a second license in order to activate firestreamer. I will only ever have one instance of the software running. Is firestreamer linked to hardware or the OS in such a way that it can`t be transported in a DR situation?

You don't need a license to restore your data with Firestreamer. You do need a license for each installed copy of Firestreamer which writes to tapes.
